AIX Systems Engineers and AIX Systems Administrators

One of our clients is seeking up to 60 resources to perform a platform migration from Solaris (ver 9 and up)  to AIX. Positions will be in NJ and TX. We are looking for candidates that have performed these migrations previously,

AIX Systems Engineers and AIX Systems Administrators

-              AIX Systems Administrators

 

Duration:  12-36 months

Experience:   Mid -Senior level

 

DESCRIPTION:

Migrating over 1500 servers running Oracle, SAP and PeopleSoft applications from Solaris to AIX for a global customer.

A full team will be needed by June 11th/June 18th, but a core team must be identified by May 28th.

This is a global migration with largest data centers located in NJ and TX.

The Engineers will be assisting with infrastructure Assessment, Analysis, Design, Conversion, Testing, Operations & Management, Risk Avoidance, and Migration.

The candidate should possess strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while maintaining a persistent, dedicated, and "can-do" attitude. Must be able to collaborate easily and effectively with peers, customers, management, and other team members.

Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts with strong judgment and decision-making ability.
