Job Title: Sr Java Developer

Duration: 12+ Month contract

Location: Des Moines, IA & Mclean, VA

 

Job Description:

·         7+ years of Java/J2EE development experience; Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale, Java/J2EE projects from end-to-end.

·         Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.

·         Extensive knowledge and application of Java best practices and J2EE design patterns along with experience with application servers (i.e. Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.), and Oracle database servers.

·         Experience in implementing design patterns and should be able to adapt to the changing patterns quickly.

·         Hands-on experience with n-tier J2EE technologies such as Java EE 5, JSP, JavaScript, JMS, Hibernate, XML, XSD, XSLT, Parsers, and UML documentation.

·         Experience in various performance analysis and tuning techniques.

Preferred Skills:

·         Production Support experience.

·         Demonstrated analytical and reverse engineering experience.

·         Prior work experience in the financial industry. Hibernate, Eclipse Modeling Framework or other ORM tool experience.

·         Prior work experience in OSCache, JCache or other caching API.

·         SQL performance tuning.

Duration: 18 months

Minneapolis, MN

 

Job description:

·         Looking for back-end developer with extensive experience in SPRING, Spring MVC, Struts and Websphere / Weblogic.

·         Over 8 years of Java (BACKEND / WEB SERVICES) Development experience.

·         Extensive experience with Spring, Spring MVC.

·         Extensive experience with WEB SERVICES / XML / SOAP

·         Extensive experience with Struts

·         Experience  with Application servers – Websphere

·         Provide both Production Support and Development to the Banking applications.
