We are looking for
a strong Architect / Sr. Developer with 8+ years of experience dealing with
complex, Regional systems distributed across various platforms (Java, DB2) to
come in and lead the Design phase of a new business system.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis, Problem Solving, and Documentation:
- Review User Requirements and Technical Design
for new business system
- Lead Design architecture based on
Requirements with ability to translate the Use cases into the functional specs
for upcoming Development phase.
- Document code & process
- Update system documentation to reflect
changing design
- 8+ years of Development experience in Java
- Strong communication & writing skills
- Previous experience with projects using a
formal project methodology
- Good verbal & written communications
- Duties include: 70% Design Architecture, 30%
Design Documentation
- Final duration of project will be determined
after review of requirements/design with developer
Skills:
- Strong Java development skills (8+ years)
- Strong experience in architecture design of
distributed systems using Java and DB2
- System Documentation skills a must
- Critical Thinking, Problem Solving Skills
- Communication (Verbal & Written)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, Word)
